I have attended WOW Philippines in Intramuros! And the festival rocks!

And last night, I saw PINIKPIKAN perform. Sobrang astig!

I just woke up...


Last night I attended AdmitOne, and it kicked ass!!!

The concept was that all the bands playing that night would be doing a cover of a Nirvana song.

The show started with Electronica Manila. When I first heard the name, I thought it was a band, and then last night I found out that they were actually a duo. They play electronica and reminded me of The Chemical Brothers.

Twisted Halo -This band has never failed to impress me, which is why I love them. Opening with their Nirvana cover, Dumb, Vin takes the backseat as Jason mumbles on his mike. Monmon pounds the drums like hell even as Buddy contently -and almost unmoving- fingers his bass. Joey marks the spot with his axe, looking like an disco party-goer on an epileptic attack.

Fatal Posporos -It has been months since I last saw this band perform, and I was glad to have seen this all-girl punk-pop band. Kris confided that she was drunk and smashed our ears with their repertoire, which included "Sili Song", "Walang Break, Break", and their Cover. Unfortunately, since I grew up listening to Sesame Street songs and New Wave music, I didn't know enough Nirvana songs to last me an hour, and so I didn't know what these girls were singing. But they sure as hell rocked the house!
I'll be waiting for them next month.
